Each track lists the people who wrote, performed and produced it.

What every track needs

Before a release can be submitted, every track needs:
  • at least one songwriter (a role such as Composer, Lyricist or Songwriter), with a legal first and last name;
  • at least one performer (such as Vocals, Guitar or Programmer);
  • at least one production credit (such as Producer, Mixing Engineer or Mastering Engineer).
One person can hold several roles, as Nora does above.

Songwriting shares

Give a share for every songwriter on the track, totalling exactly 100, or give none and the share is split evenly. Giving shares for some songwriters and not others is refused, so nobody’s publishing is misstated.

Remixes

A remix track needs a credit with the Remixer role for the person who remixed it.

Artists aren’t credits

Primary and featured artists are set through artists. The Primary Artist and Featured Artist roles are refused in credits.
